Tuesday was a sad day for me. Well, most of the day I was super excited that we had our ultrasound appointment at 6pm. I had to work until 5:30pm which seem to take forever to come. But when it finally did, I quickly changed and headed over to my OB/Gyn's office and was waiting in the parking lot for Luke and the girls to get there. As I was patiently waiting, I get a phone call and it says its from the Ob's office. So I answer and they tell me that they want to hold off another 2 weeks for the ultrasound. I was like WHAT?????? She then tells me yes so hopefully you haven't left yet. I'm like are you kidding me, its 2 minutes before 6, of course I left, I'm standing in your parking lot!!!! So after talking for a bit trying to understand their reasoning for holding off another 2 weeks for the ultrasound, she then tells me just to come inside and we can reschedule. UGH!!!! So my ultrasound appointment with them is now on Feb. 22nd. I was fuming!!
I get home and Luke tells me to call my friend that I work with that is in ultrasound school who has been asking me to come in for the past 2-3 weeks for her to do the ultrasound, so we can at least see what it is. I called her and she tells me that she will be class on Wed. I tell her perfect, I get off at 1pm and Luke has a meeting right down the street from you, we will be there. That totally changed my night!!
So Wednesday, I meet Luke up at Gateway community college where my friend Tara is becoming an ultrasound tech and we meet her to go into her classroom. We get an hour, AN HOUR, to play and look at the baby. How fun is that!!! At first she went straight for the BIG REVEAL but he wants to cross his legs and not show us. So we went on to look at his heart which was beating at a strong 145 beats a minute, his brain, his legs, arms, fingers and toes. SOOOOO adorable!! She then goes back to see if we can tell and it sort of looks like a boy, ha. She grabs her instructor who comes over and plays for a bit and then he wants to show us that IT'S A BOY, and the funny thing is apparently the boys start playing with themselves down there even inside the womb, JOY!! lol. Then she did a few 3D pictures, which looks like more blobs to me, and then we had to leave. Oh that made my day!!! Here is a lot of pictures that she gave me.

He was waving his arm at us.
The amazing proflle
His tiny foot, which is my favorite :)
And the 3D pics of his face
And then he puts his arm over his face, I think he got tired of us poking him, because right about that point he kicked and it was harder than he has done before.
Later Wednesday night me and Luke were sitting and talking and baby boy starts kicking again but much stronger this time where I could actually feel him on the outside, I quick called Luke to sit next to me to feel. Of course then he only kicks about 2 more times and stopped.
We had originally scheduled to take some pics for our reveal right after the ultrasound but had to cancel since we didn't have an ultrasound. So Thursday night we got to do our pictures for our gender reveal.
I love our idea for our reveal, it was fun!!
And we are all extremely excited and blessed to be adding a baby boy to our family :)
Yay! Ha ha, def Luke's little boy!
