35 week updated

35 weeks, all I can say is YAHHOOOOOOOO!!  We are sooo soooo sooooo close!!
The last couple days I have actually been feeling pretty good except for that I can feel him dropping which has been keeping me up at night and is making walking a little difficult, ha ha.  Oh and not to mention my huge ankle/feet and hands because of all the swelling!!  I didn't have this issue when I was pregnant with Janiece, but it makes for tender and sore feet and hands!!
We had our follow up appointment today, which went pretty well.  He is still measuring at 35 weeks and a strong, healthy heartbeat.  He did check me because of the constant contractions still and I am now dilated to 1 and down to 25% effaced.  So we are crossing our fingers to keep him in for at least another 2-3 weeks!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend was kind of a bummer weekend for us.  We didn't get to do much since I worked the whole weekend.  But since I didn't have to go to work till 3 on Monday, the hubby and I decided to take a day trip up to Payson.  I'm glad we decided to go, it was so fun to get away with Luke just for a couple hours and probably will be the last time before the baby!!
We drove up in the morning and walked through a little arts and crafts fair that was going on then we drove up to the Tonto National Bridge Park and walked around there for a while then headed back to Payson for lunch and then headed home so I could make it to work on time.
A very beautiful and nice day up in Payson!!

34 weeks

We are just soooooo close!!  I have enjoyed the feel of the baby kicks and jabs and hick ups, but I think I'm at the point of being done with him inside and would love for him to be outside! lol
The doctors appointment last Friday was ok.  He just said that my body must be getting ready for him a little early and he didn't think that he would be coming anytime soon, if we are lucky maybe a week early.
So the contractions still continue on as well as all the aches and pains that also goes along with it.  The last two days I think he might be dropping since I feel like every-time I stand up he is going to walk on out! ha ha
Here is the 34 week bump....

Baby scare/Mother's Day

Since the 32 week update, I had the three days off to lay around and try to learn how to relax as the doctor instructed me to.  On Saturday I returned back to work, but around 10 am the contractions that I was having between 10-30 mins apart started coming 5-10 minutes apart.  I grabbed a stool and propped my feet up and tried to relax as much as I could while at work.  As the day went on they got more intense and got down to 3-5 minutes apart.  About 4 pm I decided that they weren't going to slow down no matter what I did and called our doctor in which told us to head to the hospital.  I left work and grabbed Luke at home and went to the hospital.  They hooked me up to a monitor and the contractions were indeed coming every 3-5 mins.  They did some other testing on me which showed that the contractions that I was having weren't active labor contractions, so they gave me a shot of terbutaline to help slow the contractions down and monitored me for another 45 mins.  The contractions did slow down and got less intense for about 30-45 mins, so they sent me home with the same instructions just to take it easy and follow up at my doctors office on Friday   So hopefully this little booger stays in for at least another 4 weeks or longer.
Sunday I was supposed to work also but because of the scare the day before I got to stay home.  Well Sunday morning I did get to lay around and rest until about lunch time when we headed over to Luke's parents house for lunch that his mom made for the entire family.

Then we came home so I could get another little nap in before heading to my mom's for some dinner.  We sat by the pool and enjoyed some pizza, cheesecake, and some pie!!
I have now dropped my work schedule from working 13 hour shifts to working 8 hour shifts so hopefully it might help hold this little guy in a little longer!!

32 week prego update

Already at 32 weeks!!!  This pregnancy seems to be going pretty fast but at the same time me and the hubby are kind of over the pregnancy and ready for little Titus to get here (well not exactly ready for him to be here, but ready to be done).
Since a couple weeks ago I have been having the Braxton Hicks contractions, but since Sunday of last week they have been coming more often, especially in the evenings.  Like every 10 mins often.  So we had our follow up appointment on Wednesday and they said everything looked good.  His heart beat was at 145 and I wasn't in preterm.  But she did put me on semi bed rest saying that I can go to work and sit but when I'm home I'm not to do anything. Hmmm, easier said than done for me.  I'm not one for rest and relaxation while I'm at home with so much to be done, but the last 3 days I have been good and sitting on the couch and enjoying this new tv series that my buddy Nikelle just got me hooked on (I finished one season in 3 days :(.)  So I have another appointment set up next Friday to go in and be rechecked.
But here is the 32 week belly bump!!
