Janiece is 13

I can't believe my baby girl turned 13 this year.  Just seems like yesterday I was pregnant with her!!  Ok, not really, but it doesn't seem like it has been 13 years!  Janiece and I have been through a lot together and I'm grateful for how loving, kind, thoughtful, and gorgeous she has turned out to be.  I can't wait to watch her grow even more!!

Since her birthday was on a Tues, and I had to work till 4, she spent the day with my sister in law getting a manicure, lunch, some shopping, and just getting spoiled.

So I made her dinner (by her request) and then we went to Frost for gelato :)

But since its the big "13" we had to do something a little more than that.

We planned a surprise party with some family.  It was a fun night and she really had no idea!!

38 week prego update

Didn't think I would be doing a 38 week update but sadly here it is :(  Yes, were still prego.  The doctors appointment last Friday went well, I guess. lol.  He said I am now dilated to 1.5cm.  Whhooo, after being at 1cm for 3 weeks, we have now moved to 1.5. Ha ha.  Yeah, I'm really not that excited about that.  I, of course, would rather be a lot further dilated than that!  But he is still strong and healthy and that's what matters.

Maternity pictures

My wonderful and talented friend, Nikelle, did it again.  She did our maternity pictures about a week ago and they turned out fabulous!!  I absolutely love them!

Baby Shower #2

Yes we were lucky enough to get 2 baby showers thrown for us!!  The first one was with all my church friends and the second one was with family and close friends.  My mom and sister in law went all out on the superman theme and it was a fun and fabulous shower!!  We started with food, played guess the baby food flavor game and the candy bar poop game, then opened presents while everyone played the gift tick tack toe game. It was a blast and I'm grateful for a creative mom and sister in law and for all who came!!

37 week prego update

Well we have made it a lot further than I thought we would.  37 weeks today!!  I lasted through 2 baby showers in 2 weeks and also our maternity pictures.  I was scared that he was going to come before I was able to get to those!!  
I am at the point where I get no sleep at night, seems like the pain and pressures happen more when I'm laying down.  My feet have been sooo swollen that they hurt and are super sore.  And today it hurts to walk because the pressure in the belly is super heavy, but we have our follow up appointment tomorrow so we will see where we are at then!!
