Arts and Crafts Fair

Since we had no school or work yesterday in celebration of Veteran's Day, we got an invite from my buddy, Nikelle to drive up to Fountain Hills for their arts and crafts fair going on this weekend.  And so we went and had a great time.  Even our drive out there was adventurous, well I guess any kind of outing with me is an adventure, ha ha ha.  Let's just say it has been a while since I have been up to Fountain Hills, and forgot that every time I went I lived in Chandler and would drive up Gilbert Rd to the Beeline.  Well since I'm in Gilbert now, I know you can get to the Beeline from Power but instead of turning left to get to Fountain Hills, I turned right, which is the way we go to get to Four Peaks and Sycamore Creek.  So lets just say me and Nikelle had lots of time to catch up on each other's lives, lol :)  OOOOOPPPPS.

I think I heard there was 400 + booths.

Homemade curly fries, yep we tried them!!  I say there were good, I like my fries crunchy and these were pretty oily instead, but still good!!

My next craft!!  This lady had the coolest wine glasses that she hand painted and then there were these.  She just glued canning jars on candlesticks and painted the lids!!  Yes, a must try!!

Another long line of creative booths and I just loved how the fountain was shooting up at the same time!

And of course the fountain of Fountain Hills :)

And we found a statue of Theodore Roosevelt on our way out, of course we had to stop and take a picture with him!!  We ran into some friends from church who were nice enough to help with this picture and then they called us tourists, lol :)
A fun and beautiful day, I must say!!
