Pumpkin Carving with the Bennett's

So last year we had some friends over for a pumpkin carving party.  This year we tried to do the same and have a 2nd annual party but it just turned out to be us and the Bennett's.  But as long as I got to make my goodies, we were good!!

Our pumpkins before the party got started...

Deviled egg eyes-sooo yummy!!

The Bennett's busting into their pumpkins

Luke had to help Janiece cut off her top, she did start it but I got a little frightened the way she was doing it and I did mention that my work, the urgent care, was still open for another hour and I didn't not want to take a trip in, lol.

Starting to carve their pumpkins

Everyone was concentrating so hard, :)

Yep even me!!

Me and the hubby digging into the insides!!

Ciera and her finished pumpkin, yes she did it all by herself, even the cutting of the face!  Great job!

Nikelle and her pumpkin, yes she did it all by herself too. He He (love you Nikelle)

Me and my scarecrow

And I thought I was the perfectionist of the family, lol.  The hubby still working away...

I will be putting the recipes for some of the goodies on my baking blog www.pokeypopscakery.wordpress.com
 throughout this week!!

This was one bowl full of seeds from all the pumpkins, that I toasted up with some garlic salt (thanks for the recommendation Nikelle)

And this is Nikelle's bowl full of seeds waiting to be taken home and toasted!!  YUMMY!
