Volleyball Game

Janiece had another game this saturday.  I think most of the girls might of been still sleeping although the game was at noon, lol.  But they did put up a fight towards the end!  We lost the game.  1st game we lost 25-16, 2nd game we won 26-24, and third game which we had a chance of winning but the referee called it because of time so we lost 16-14 :(

Pumpkin Carving with the Bennett's

So last year we had some friends over for a pumpkin carving party.  This year we tried to do the same and have a 2nd annual party but it just turned out to be us and the Bennett's.  But as long as I got to make my goodies, we were good!!

Luke had to help Janiece cut off her top, she did start it but I got a little frightened the way she was doing it and I did mention that my work, the urgent care, was still open for another hour and I didn't not want to take a trip in, lol.

1st Volleyball game for fall '11 season

Janiece had a doubleheader back to back volley ball games this sat.  Against the first team they did good, they won.  1st game they won 25-21, second game they lost 25-22, and the last game against the team they won 26-24.

But unfortunately against the second team they lost. First game they lost 25-14, second game they lost 25-19, and last game they won 25-17.

Janiece School Project & Ciera washing her horse

So tomorrow Ciera has one of her monthly Jymkhana's. Which is a horse riding event, you have to control your horse and run a specific pattern.  Since she has to be there at 9 am, we had to go and give her horse, Valentino a bath so he can be pretty for tomorrow morning.

Janiece's 6th grade class is learning about Egypt and mummies.  So they have a project that they have to do which is building a pyramid out of anything they wanted.  I asked Janiece what she wanted to make it out of and her being my daughter says rice krispies treats.  Ha ha, yes I can do that!!

Her finished pyramid, the last batch of rice krispies treats came out a little soggy but she was able to put it together anyways.  Inside is a tomb that she made out of my left over brown fondant.

Fall Break-Disneyland!!

Yes for another week, I have been slacking on the blog..... but I have a great excuse!!  We left Thurs morning and took the girls for our first official family vaca to Disneyland!!  We had a blast!!  We stayed at Disneyland Paradise Pier and spent 2 days at Disneyland and California Parks!!  Not to mention a whole lotta trips to Downtown Disney for food and shopping!
I'm just going to let the pictures do the talking!!!

Fantastic Mickey!!!  We had a blast.  Can't wait for next summer, I really want to go back.......  I saw California adding on....  and guess what they are adding........   CARS!!!!  The whole town, it looks super cute... has Flo's V8 Cafe and looks like might be some race cars or something!!!!  YEAH!!
