Baby Shower #2

Yes we were lucky enough to get 2 baby showers thrown for us!!  The first one was with all my church friends and the second one was with family and close friends.  My mom and sister in law went all out on the superman theme and it was a fun and fabulous shower!!  We started with food, played guess the baby food flavor game and the candy bar poop game, then opened presents while everyone played the gift tick tack toe game. It was a blast and I'm grateful for a creative mom and sister in law and for all who came!!

37 week prego update

Well we have made it a lot further than I thought we would.  37 weeks today!!  I lasted through 2 baby showers in 2 weeks and also our maternity pictures.  I was scared that he was going to come before I was able to get to those!!  
I am at the point where I get no sleep at night, seems like the pain and pressures happen more when I'm laying down.  My feet have been sooo swollen that they hurt and are super sore.  And today it hurts to walk because the pressure in the belly is super heavy, but we have our follow up appointment tomorrow so we will see where we are at then!!

Baby shower #1

Saturday my wonderful friend Nikelle threw me a baby shower with our church friends.  It was such a nice shower and I'm grateful for all our friends that could be there.

Playing the first game, which I had to guess what Luke said to Heidi questions.  I actually got 10 out of 20 of his answers right, not too bad. ha

2nd game was to see who could finish their 4 oz of drink of choice from a bottle

And I wonder who won that game.....

Ummm, yes I did. LOL

Then a game of how many cotton balls can you get in the bowl

and the two winners from that game got to see who ultimately won by spitting a pacifier the farthest!

Janiece's spring volleyball season

Janiece finished up her spring season of volleyball about 3 weeks ago.  The team that she was on was amazing, we love the coach and wish we could get her again in the fall but unfortunately with Janiece turning 13 this summer she will be moving up in the age bracket putting her with 13-15 year olds and the coach will stay with the 10-12 year olds :(  She has not only improved serving but now has been spiking the ball, which has been so fun to watch!!  We were very fortunate also to have a coach that is married to a guy that does sports photography.  He took pictures at most of the games and I just loved how they came out!!  Here are a few of my favorites:
